Step 1: Use the contact link at the top right - fill out the form to express interest in hiring a Newborn Care Specialist, Nanny, or Family Assistant. Moonlit Cradles candidates are able to provide care anywhere in the United States.

Step 2: You will be provided a thoughtful intake form followed by a private consultation, allowing Moonlit Cradles to understand your family, lifestyle, and care goals. Most families are introduced to 3–4 caregivers, each selected for experience, professionalism, and alignment with your family’s goals. All candidates undergo résumé verification, reference checks, and comprehensive background screenings before interviews begin.

Our newborn care placement includes curated candidate introductions, contract guidance, negotiation support, and a 14-day replacement assurance.

Step 3: Once you’ve chosen your candidate for hire, Moonlit Cradles will assist with negotiating rates and benefits, then move forward with contract signing between both parties. There is more information about rates and experience levels on our FAQ page.

Step 4: You and your selected candidate will proceed to work together with an agreed upon schedule. Candidate hours will be submitted to and approved by Moonlit Cradles and the hiring family. We will always be here to support your caregiver and family as needed throughout the contract.
